We hope you will take advantage of this offer and learn more about the MTA and our efforts to build and maintain greenways and trails in McDowell County.  Many residents and visitors regularly walk on the Joseph McDowell Historical Catawba Greenway, the Peavine Trail, and Point Lookout Trail.  Many are discovering the Copper Ridge section of the Fonta Flora State Trail near Old Fort and the many trails in the Grandfather District of the Pisgah National Forest. Mountain bikers regularly use Kitsuma Trail and other trails near Old Fort.

The MTA looks forward to meeting may new members through this limited offer.
